SUBJECT: LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS AT FISHER PARK
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department will be temporarily closing the open field area south of the playground at
Fisher Park for landscape improvements.
These improvements will consist of sod removal, surface grading and the installation of
new sod. Grading and installation shall take approximately one week; however, the newly
sodded areas will remain closed for approximately three to four additional weeks to allow
for proper rooting and establishment.
The project is expected to commence on Monday, January 8, 2018, and the open field
should be ready to reopen by Monday, February 12, 2018, weather permitting.
