SUBJECT: MUSS PARK PROGRAMMING _ "' DATE
The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to begin program offerings to our residents and
visitors at our new jewel in Mid -Beach, the new and improved Muss Park.
The department began priority registration for the 2017-2018 After School program on July 24,
2017. Throughout the registration process, staff has been advising program participants enrolling
at the Scott Rakow Youth Center for grades kindergarten through third that upon the opening of
Muss Park, that particular age group will be transferred to Muss Park to attend the After School
program at that site. The department expects to have the children begin the After School Program
at Muss Park beginning February 20, 2017. Staff will assist parents with any concerns they may
have prior to the move.
In addition to the After School Program, we are pleased to announce a new line up of morning
activities for the park beginning the week of January 29, 2018 to include:
Sticky Fingers (arts and crafts for toddlers ages 2 and up)
Sing! Play! Move! (Interactive mommy and me for toddlers ages 2 and up)
Dance Fusion (rhythmic dance classes for ages 18 and up)
Yoga (ages 18 and up)
