SUBJECT: City of Miami Beach Canvassing Board-Membership
Pursuant to requirements of law, the following persons have been appointed to
membership on the City of Miami Beach's Canvassing Board for the City's November
7, 2017 General and Special Elections and, if necessary, the City's November 21, 2017
Runoff Election:
• Honorable Tanya Brinkley (Regular Member).
• Rafael E. Granado, City of Miami Beach, City Clerk (Regular Member).
• Jimmy McMillion, Qualified Elector (Substitute Member).
• Honorable Gina Beovides (Substitute Member in event Judge Brinkley is unable
to serve).
• Judy Hoanshelt, Qualified Elector (Alternate Member).
The Canvassing Board will be conducting its initial meeting on October 2, 2017 at
9:00 am in the City Attorney's large conference room. The schedule of additional
meeting dates and times of the Canvassing Board are attached.

NOVEMBER 7, 2017 MIAMI BEACH GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS
The City of Miami Beach Canvassing Board will convene at the Office of the Supervisor of
Elections, 2700 NW sih Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172. The Canvassing Board is convening
on these dates for the November 7, 2017 Miami Beach General and Special Elections.

Thursday, 10/19/17 1. Logic and Accuracy Test of the touch
10:00 a.m. screen and optical scan voting systems to
be used for vote-by-mail, early voting and
precinct ballots
2:00 p.m. 2. Public inspection of vote-by-mail ballots
Monday, 11/6/17 1. Pre-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the
10:00 a.m. through optical scan system used for vote-by-mail
Tuesday, 11/7/17 and provisional ballots
to completion 2. Approval to commence vote-by-mail ballot
opening, processing, and duplication
3. Vote-by-mail ballot opening and processing
(as needed)
4. Duplication of ballots (as needed)
