The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
(TPBPFC) met on Monday,January 14th and unanimously passed the below
motion regarding the proposed changes to the TPBPFC structure which is being
proposed as follows(underline denotes additions;.strike through denotes
deletions):
The committee shall consist of 4411 voting members. The mayor and city
commissioners shall each make one direct appointment, with the other seven
four members of the committee to be comprised of members from the
following community organizations, each of which . ust delegate a pe.manent
coordinating-representative-whom shall be appointed by majority vote of the
city commission:
1) Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce's Transportation and Parking
Committee;

neighborhood or business association;

The Committee asks the Mayor&Commission to pull this item from the
January 16, 2019 Commission agenda, and that a clear definition be provided as
to the reasons why these proposed changes have been brought up and
requested.
As an advisory Committee, we would greatly appreciate your consideration on
this very important motion.
