Kathaleen Smarsh Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
Richard Streim
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
(TPBPFC) met on Monday, February 11th and unanimously passed the below
motions:
Proposed Changes to the TPBPFC Structure:
The TPBPFC is asking that this item be pulled from the February 13th
Commission meeting agenda. The TPBPFC feels that upon removal of the
Lincoln Road Marketing, Inc., seat, the Committee will have a total of thirteen
(13) active members that represent the entire City.
Pilot for Electric-Assist Bicycle Sharing Program:
The TPBPFC recommends that the City enter into conversation with the existing
company the City has for bicycle sharing—Citibike, as they have provided good
service throughout their contract with the City.
As an advisory Committee, we would greatly appreciate your consideration on
these very important motions.
Sincerely,
Transportation, Parking & Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
