SUBJECT: THIRD ANNUAL MIAMI BEACH YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL
The City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation would like to invite you to join us
as we rock-out at the Third Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival on March 9, 2019
from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the North Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue).
This exciting event is the culmination of musical performance video auditions, held during
the month of December, from scores of local youth musicians competing for a coveted
spot at the Festival.
Performers this year were selected by a panel composed of music industry professionals,
including third-generation musician Stephen Gibb, executives Rudy and Betsy Perez, and
Laura Quinlan of The Rhythm Foundation.
This year the Festival will showcase the following acts will on the Clark D. Burris stage:
• Arrowhead • Groovy Anchovy • Peach
• Avalanche • Miami Beach Jazz • Ripcord
• Danna Luna Combo • South Miami Jazz
• Dulce Blood • Miami Beach Rock Band
• Four Now Ensemble • Subtle Sauce
• Nautilus Jazz Band
The Garden Stage will host nine top developing acts:
• Alexander Taney • Fienberg Fisher Rock • John Andres Aleman
• Clementina Ensemble • Malena Kingston
Ramirez • Isaiah River Saranow • Mark Charnetski
• Isabella Velasquez • Mihi Singer
Admission is a suggested contribution of $5 to support local youth music education. The
festival encourages attendees to explore their own talent as they visit the instrument
petting zoo and musical instrument-making booth, courtesy of The Bass Museum.
Featured activations include an imagination playground featuring life-size Legos, a pop-
up skate park and food trucks, among other family-friendly activities. The evening will
culminate with a performance by headliner SPAM Allstars and well-known South Florida
band FOOM!
