WHEREAS, Julian Morales ("Morales"), a seven-year-old Homestead resident,

three years old; and
WHEREAS, Dyskeratosis Congenita is a rare genetic disorder in which the bone
marrow does not produce sufficient blood cells; and
WHEREAS, Be the Match is a global leader in bone marrow transplantation
through its research to improve transplant outcomes; and
WHEREAS, through Be the Match, Morales's mother held donor drives in which
dozens of friends and family members were tested, but none completely matched

a match for Morales; and
