Dear Mayor and Honorable City Commission:
The Sustainability Committee met on March 26, 2019 and passed the motions
below:
• Motion appointing Max Litt as Vice Chair of the Sustainability Committee
Meeting.
• Motion to maintain Sustainability Committee meetings on a monthly
schedule to allow for sufficient discussion of the action items voted on by
the committee.
• Motion to support Public Space Challenge grant recipient, John Lacko, on
his project to create interactive signage promoting Bird Sanctuaries. This
includes identifying native and migratory bird species habitats and
working with the city's Urban Forestry Division to incorporate them in the
city's tree options.
As an Advisory Committee, we sincerely ask that consideration be given to the
above motion.
Sincerely,
David Doebler
