Have you seen these Code Compliance Officers in your neighborhood? If not, you will be seeing
them soon. Beginning mid-August , the Code Compliance Department began holding Roll Calls
in our neighborhoods and business districts.
Pinetree Park
Roll Calls have been held in the Lummus Park,
Pinetree Park, Sunset Harbor and Normandy
Fountain neighborhoods. Once Roll Call
adjourns, officers depart to their assigned
districts and zones . This brings anywhere from
8-12+ city vehicles and uniformed staff to our
neighborhoods on a weekly basis increasing
visibility.
Lummus Park
Additionally, duri ng the last week of August two Normandy Fountain
officers began reporting directly out of the North Beach Building Department satellite office.
This change enables the officers to begin their workday within their assigned zones increasing
productivity and visibility in North Beach. Over the next few weeks , the department will be
completing its move to a new location on Meridian Avenue to make way for the convention
center hotel project. Once that move is complete , the supervisor and six officers that comprise
the North Beach team will transition to be based out of the Building Department's satellite office.
