SUBJECT: Pre-Election Test of the Automatic Tabulating Equipment (Logic and
Accuracy Test) and Canvassing Board Schedule
Pursuant to Florida Statutes §§101.5612(2) and 102.141, attached please find the time
and location of the public Pre-Election Test of the Automatic Tabulating Equipment (Logic
and Accuracy Test) and the Canvassing Board Schedule indicating the time and place
during which the Canvassing Board will meet to canvass the absentee electors' ballots
and provisional ballots for the November 19, 2019 Run-Off Election. The Logic and
Accuracy Test and the meetings of the Canvassing Board to canvass the absentee
electors' ballots and provisional ballots will be held at the Miami-Dade County Department
of Elections, located at 2700 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL. Please note that the schedule is
subject to change, if needed.
The Canvassing Board, or designee, shall convene and certify the accuracy of the test,
which shall be open to the public.

The City of Miami Beach Canvassing Board will convene at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, 2700 NW 87th
Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172.The Canvassing Board is convening on these dates for the November 19,2019 Miami
Run-Off Election.

Monday, November 18, 2019 1. Pre-count Logic and Accuracy Test of the optical scan
commencing at 1:00 p.m. to completion voting system used for Vote-by-Mail and provisional
ballots
2. Approval to commence Vote-by-Mail ballot opening,
processing, and duplication
3. Vote-by-Mail ballot opening and processing (as needed)
4. Duplication of ballots (as needed)
Tuesday, November 19, 2019 1. Canvassing of presumed invalid Vote-by-Mail ballots (as

All proceedings will be open to the public. Please note that the Canvassing Board Schedule is subject to change, if

with disabilities, and/or any accommodation to review a document or participate in any City-sponsored proceedings,
call 305.604.2489 and select 1 for English or 2 for Spanish, then option 6; TTY users may call via 711 (Florida Relay
Service). In accordance with Florida Statute§286.0105, a person who appeals any decision by the Canvassing Board
with respect to any matter considered at a meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and therefore
will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
