SUBJECT: One -Day Closure of Muscle Bead# South Beach
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission the 9th Street fitness area in Lummus
Park, known as Muscle Beach South Beach, will be closed to members of the public on
Wednesday, December 4th, all day.
A production company has been granted exclusive use of the location to film a commercial that
will reach a worldwide audience. In return, production has agreed to make a generous donation to
the Miami Beach Police Athletic League.
