Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee met on
Monday January 13, 2020, and discussed the lack of cleanliness at bus stops as
well as safety issues with shelters that do not have adequate lighting. The
TPBPFC passed the below motions:
Bus Stop Cleanliness
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee is
asking that Sanitation attend their next meeting on February 10, 2020 to
address the cleanliness at bus stops.
Bus Shelter Lighting
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee asks
that Transportation look at the feasibility of retrofitting bus shelters with
lighting, for those shelters that are in need.
As an advisory Committee,we would greatly appreciate your consideration on
the above motions.
Sincerely,
Transportation, Parking& Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
