Motions by the LGBTQ Advisory Co
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and the Commission of
motions made by the LGBTQ Advisory Committee at their meeting on February 11, 2020.
MOTION 1: The Committee recommends accepting the donation of the work of art that LGBTQ
artist, Rubem Robierb, would like to donate to the City of Miami Beach and the Committee also
recommends it be placed in a prominent location on or adjacent to Lincoln Road with the details of
the contribution.

MOTION 2: The Committee recommends that the City grandfather in Winter Party to be granted
extended hours of selling/serving alcohol until 7 a.m. on a yearly basis if the dates fall in to the
timeframe of the month of March where the sale and or/serving of alcoholic beverages will be
prohibited if item R50 on the February 12" Commission agenda passes.
