SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to equest for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2020-009-JC,
for Citywide Security Access Software System
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2020-009-JC, which seeks to establish an agreement with a firm(s) to
provide a citywide physical access control security system, which includes the primary function of
granting entry access to buildings, offices, rooms, personnel, and City assets.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on Thursday, March 12, 2020. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Roland Aragunde, Detective, Investigations and Technical Support Division, MBPD
• Monica Beltran, Assistant Director, Parking Department
• Frank Garcia, Senior Facilities Capital Projects Coordinator, Property Management
Department
• Frank Quintana, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Information Technology Department
• Ramon Suarez, Human Resources Administrator II, Human Resources Department, City of
Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Rocio Alba, Administrative Service Manager, Parking Department
• Steven Feldman, Captain, Investigations and Technical Support Division, MBPD
• Ozzy Macias, System Support Manager, Information Technology Department
• Elizabeth Miro, Assistant Director, Property Management Department
