SUBJECT: Miami Beach All Stars STEAM S mmer Program
The Office of Housing and Community Services is pleased to inform the Mayor and City
Commission that registration is open for the Miami Beach All Stars STEAM Summer Program
serving middle-school students in our community.
In partnership with Augmented Intelligence Academy and the Miami Beach Regional Library's
YOUmake space, the annual STEAM summer program is an opportunity for middle school youth
to learn and create using science, technology, engineering, art and math. Hands-on robotics and
digital media production sessions are offered along with weekly field trips to exciting and inspiring
locations. Participating youth have an opportunity to apply their newly learned STEAM skills by
designing a product while learning the principles of entrepreneurship and creating a business
plan. Participants who complete eight weeks in the 9-week program will earn their own robot.

Event: Miami Beach All Stars STEAM Summer Program
Dates: June 15 —August 14, 2020
Time: 8:30 am — 5:00 pm
Location: Miami Beach Regional Library— 227 22nd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Lunch, snacks, and transportation to and from North Shore Park & Youth Center are provided
daily for program participants. Program services, activities and events are open and free to all
Miami-Dade County residents. Space is limited. Online enrollment is available March 29th at 10
am at register.miamibeachparks.com. Alternatively, a space may be reserved by contacting Tania
Perez at TaniaPerez@miamibeachfl.gov or by calling 305.673.7491.
Miami Beach All Stars is funded by The Children's Trust. The Children's Trust is a dedicated
source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families
in Miami-Dade County.
