Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee held
their June 8", 2020 meeting virtually. The Committee discussed 1" Street Design
(between Washington Ave., and Alton Road) and passed the below motions:
Option 1
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee voted:
three (3) in favor and 8 (eight) against Option l.
Option 2
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee voted:
Nine (9) in favor and three (3) against Option 2.
Therefore, the Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities
Com mittee recommends that the City select Option 2 for the 1" Street Design.
please note: Option 1 had 8 (eight) against, as a Committee member was
absent during the vote
