Design/Build Services for 724 Street Community Complex
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2020-180-ND, which seeks to contract with a Design/Build Firm for the design,
permitting, community outreach participation, and the construction of the 72° Street Community
Complex.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on August 10, 2020. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Cynthia Casanova, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department
• Saul Frances, Director, Parking Department
• David Gomez, Division Director, The Office of Capital Improvement Projects
• Carolina Jones, Member, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
• Carmen Sanchez, Deputy Planning Director, Planning Department
• Daniel Veitia, Resident, North Beach
• Elizabeth Wheaton, Director, Environment and Sustainability Department
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
