On March 12, 2024, the City Manager approved the Consumer Price Index (CPI) request submitted by Kimley-Horn & Associates,Inc.,on September 25,2023 for an increase of 3.79'o to the hourly billing rates based on the CPI percentage to be effective October 1,2023(See attached Request for City Manager Approval). This approval resulted in Amendment No,3 to Contract No. 15-115-JR for Program Management Services for an Intelligent Transportation Management System&Parking Management System. On September 25,2023,Kimley-Horn&Associates,Inc.requested an increase of 3.73'o to the hourly billing rates based on the Consumer Price Index(CP1)percentage.Kimley-Horn requested that the increase be effective October 1,2023. The Transportation&Mobility Department(department)reviewed the CPI increase and confirmed the impact will not exceed the original"Not to Exceed"contract sum of$2,250,000.The department has also reviewed the proposed CPI rates to maintain comparability with the new�y executed Contract No. 23-030-08 for General Transportation Ptanning&Traffic Engineering Consulting Services and has determined that the percentage increase is fair and reasonable due to the inflation reported.
