A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATION TO FINALIZE AND CONFIRM THE 2027 FUTURE
PROOF EVENT DATES OF MARCH 14 THROUGH MARCH 16, 2027.
WHEREAS, Future Proof is a large-scale professional event drawing more than 5,000
financial -sector attendees focused on preparing for emerging business trends, including the
implementation of artificial intelligence, and has become a valuable annual program in the City of
Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, Future Proof has hosted its most recent editions in Miami Beach, contributing
significantly to the City's reimagined Spring Break programming and helping advance a more
curated, intentional, and economically beneficial visitor environment; and
WHEREAS, the event features a citywide activation model, spanning multiple South
Beach venues and beach areas, including four blocks of beachfront, three content stages,
dedicated networking areas, hundreds of sponsor activations, and a large-scale concert, along
with more than 25,000 pre -scheduled one-on-one "Breakthru Meetings," 50 "Breakthru
Experiences," and more than 200 participating sponsors; and
WHEREAS, major sponsors include globally recognized firms such as Goldman Sachs,
BlackRock, Invesco, JP Morgan, NASDAQ, Vanguard, BNY, and Carlyle, among others, reflecting
the high -caliber professional audience drawn to the event; and
WHEREAS, confirming the dates of March 14 through March 16, 2027, for Future Proof's
third Miami Beach edition will allow the City to preserve continuity in March programming, support
ongoing Spring Break management strategies, and provide adequate lead time for
interdepartmental coordination, public safety planning, and logistics.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby direct the City Administration to finalize and confirm the 2027 Future Proof
event dates of March 14 through March 16, 2027.
