A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATION TO PAINT THE BASE OF THE PUMP STATION /
PLANTER AT SUNSET HARBOUR IN A CITY -APPROVED COLOR, AT
A COST NOT TO EXCEED $1,500.00.
WHEREAS, the pump station at Sunset Harbour serves as a prominent feature at
the entrance to the neighborhood and has recently undergone improvements including
new lighting and landscaping; and
WHEREAS, residents and community leaders have requested that the bottom
portion of the pump / planter be painted in a City -approved color to enhance its
appearance and complement the surrounding environment; and
WHEREAS, the Division Director of Facilities Management has confirmed that the
cost of painting the pump station will not exceed $1,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission recognize the importance of
maintaining and beautifying public infrastructure to support community pride and
neighborhood aesthetics.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby direct the City Administration to paint the base of the pump station /
planter at Sunset Harbour in a City -approved color, at a cost not to exceed $1,500.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this f' day of 2026.
