Daniel H. Aronson is the Co-Chair of the Firm's Corporate 8 Securities Group. With more than 20 years of
experience in complex corporate and transactional matters, he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions,
private equity and venture capital transactions, public and private securities offerings and other capital markets
transactions, as well as counseling public and private companies conneming strategic business, finance,
transactional, governance and investigative matters.
Mr. Aronson puts this experience to work by advising and assisting clients -from initial formation through growth,
financing, alliances, acquisitions and sale - in structuring, negotiating, documenting and successfully closing
business transactions. He has represented clients in a variety of industries and markets, including biotechnology,
consumer products, employee outsourcing, traditional and specialty financial services, medical/health care products
and services, information technology, media and enteRainmenl, pharmaceuticals, physician practice management,
restaurants, telecommunications and travel services. In addition, he has counseled private equity, venture capital
and real estate opportunity funds (and their portfolio companies) in fund formation, acquisition, investment and "exit"
activities.
Mr. Aronson has represented public companies in both general securities and transactional matters, including
assisting with counseling board committees, securities compliance and reporting, corporate governance, government
and internal investigations and contests for corporate control. He participated in the drafting of and lobbying for
Florida's takeover-related statutes as well as various revisions to Florida's Business Corporation Act.
Mr. Aronson has written extensively on corporate, capital markets and transactional topics, and has authored two
books on issues surrounding access to private equity capital. A frequent speaker, lecturer and panelist at business
