NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a public hearing will be held by the Mayor and
City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, in the Commission
Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach,
Florida, on Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at 9:30 a.m., to consider the adoption of
the following ordinance.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789, THE CLASSIFIED
EMPLOYEES SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THOSE CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED BY
THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE (FOP) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT A 4% SALARY INCREASE THE FIRST FULL
PAYROLL PERIOD THAT BEGINS ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 25, 2000,
AND A 4% INCREASE EFFECTIVE WITH THE FIRST FULL PAYROLL
PERIOD THAT BEGINS ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 24, 2001, AND A 4%
INCREASE EFFECTIVE WITH THE FIRST FULL PAYROLL PERIOD THAT
BEGINS ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER '30, 2002; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

meeting may be continued and under such circumstances additional !egal
notice would not be provided.
