What I now realize is it was just a transition in life. I got the opportunity to look at our community and see how I could make a difference in the quality life, not just for us, but for the lives of the people around us. I feel I've made a difference and am well respected within the community. I have been a member of the Collins Park Neighborhood Association since 2003 and president since 2007. www.coilinspark.us The thing I like most about myself is that when I start something, I will work tirelessly to complete it. I am an excellent problem solver and am most frustrated by the amount of time it takes to get things done. The thing I like least about myself is that I can be a procrastinator in starting a project because I know how I'll be once I start. I am honest, trustworthy and a good team player. If I feel something is wrong, I'll say so. I will also say how I think it can be fixed. I have completed the City of Miami Beach's Leadership Academy, The C.E.R.T. program, and the Citizen's Police Academy. I am currently signed up for the advance Police Academy course to begin in November, 2013. Reference upon request.
