Joe serves as Managing Director of Goldman Properties'Wynwood portfolio. The Wynwood portfolio
includes 25 properties,consisting of approximately 180,000 square feet of built space and 400,000
square feet of land. New development projects currently in the works will bring Goldman Properties'
total built product to over 450,000 square feet. Joe oversees all development,financing, marketing,and
leasing initiatives for the Wynwood portfolio and plays a significant oversight role in the day-to-day
management of this property. His work in Wynwood is place-making:developing a vibrant urban arts
center,fueled by dynamic retail, office,dining and entertainment.
Joe serves as the Chair of the Wynwood Business Improvement District("BID"),which he played an
instrumental role in creating through a grant received from Artplace. Joe previously served as a
founding member of the Wynwood Arts District Association. He also serves as a trustee of the Dade
Heritage Trust.
In addition to his work in Wynwood,Joe advises Goldman Properties on strategic acquisitions and
strategy in new markets and current holdings in Miami Beach, New York, and Philadelphia.
Joe initially joined Goldman Properties in 2008 as legal counsel, before transitioning to real estate
development. The founder of the company and former chief executive officer,Tony Goldman,was Joe's
partner,friend and mentor and promoted him to the position he holds today.
Joe was born and raised in Coral Gables. He graduated from Hamilton College in 2001 with a B.A. in
political Science and Economics. He continued his studies at the University of Miami School of Law
where he graduated in 2004. After two years of practice as a litigation associate with the Miami law firm
of Ratzen &Alters,Joe returned to graduate school to obtain a Masters in Real Estate from the
Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. He currently lives with his wife and daughter
in the Miami Morningside neighborhood.
