A 1981 graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in
Gerontology, Ms. Duffy-Lehrman began her career working in the U.S. House of
Representatives, becoming the youngest professional staff ever t
of the Select Committee on Aging. She was responsible for overs
and deceptive trade practices, low-income poverty and housing issues. Her work
led to helping stop abuses in the funeral, insurance and home healthcare
industries.
Ms. Duffy-Lehrman came to TV news when her impressive investigative work o

consumer, health and investigative reports received national rec
including the George Foster Peabody Award for producing an Emmy
