Scott Dignan currently works as an Investigative Assistant for the US Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic
Security, Miami Field Office. Scott also worked for theUS Department of State as a Senior Law Enforcement
Advisor to the Kurdistan Ministry of Interior (KMoI). In this role, Scott mentored Iraqi law enforcement leadership,
represented the policies of the United States Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), and
served as a subject matter expert in law enforcement affairs to key US Embassy officials in the Kurdistan region.
Before this, Scott was a Lieutenant in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department for over two decades—
