Amelia Earhart Statuary Hall Selection Committee Dr. Long is Co-Chair of the Amelia Earhart Statuary Hall Selection Committee which is charged with selecting the sculptor and overseeing the creation of a statue of aviator Amelia Earhart to be placed in National Statuary Hall to represent the state of Kansas. Amelia Earhart will replace the Senator John James Ingells. Equal Visibility Everywhere (EVE) Dr. Long is the founder and president of Equal Visibility Everywhere (EVE), a not-for- profit which focuses on researching the underrepresentation of w symbols and icons: currency, stamps, statues, monuments and memo and national holidays. Her research has broughtnational attention to the fact that only nine of the one hundred statues in National Statuary Hall in the honor women.
