Emuch appreciated. My name is Janie Hayes, husband and I had the privilege of living and working on Miami Beach for over 20 years. My husband has a kosher catering and food manufactoring company in Miami Dade County for the past 20 years. He has been able to work it many temples, parks, hotels and even the lovely Miami beach botanical gardens. It has recently come to our attention that it is almost impossible for the employees to be able to reside on Miami Beach because of the high property cost. This includes nurses schoolteachers, shop workers, hotel workers etc.. I would like to be part of that change. I had the privilege of working with Richard Bowman and learning about the affordable housing problem. And I believe that I can be one of the people familiar with the problem that can influence change. I have served on other boards including status of women and safety, I've always found it a privilege and an honor to serve as well as live on beautiful Miami Beach Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to meeting with you.
