Res. #78-15520 adopted. (See Metro -Dade Co.) Mr. A. J. Marcus presented a resolution of M. B. Board of the Community Action Agency, (deferred from 9/6/78 meeting), urging 1) enlargement of police force, 2) acceleration of street lighting improvements, and 3) ac- celeration of sidewalk ramp installations at 9/20/78 STREETLIGHTING 36 (continued) Date street intersections. Commissioner Friedman reiterated his request that when new street lighting is installed in the City, that priority installation be made in areas which have had crime problems. (See Police Dept., Sidewalks, "M" Misc.) 9/20/78 Memo #7327, final apyment of $5,467.50 for 2/7/79 agreement between CMB and Harold Lewis Malt Assoc. Inc., dated 7/18/73 - Project for Illumination of High Crime Areas - LEAA Grant #71-21-14. Appropriation approved, providing any reimbursement of grant award refunds will be returned to Contingency Fund upon receipt.
