Re. Vagabond, Inc., suit against City. City 12/17/75
Atty. reported that case will come up for trial
either latter part of January or early February.
He recommended against acceptance of litigant's
settlement offer for payment to them of $250,000
on original contract of $750,000,and advised
that counter-offer had been made to them, sub-
ject to Council's approval, that they retain
the $32,000 already paid them by the City, and
that they take back the containers.
Service on Council of Writ of Mandamus. City 12/17/75
Atty. advised that he planned to ascertain
from Sheriff's office the circumstances of why
Writ was served during conduct of Council
meeting.

of Civil Rights Case re: Eileen Feinberg, etc.
v. Nelan Sweet, et al, in amount of $1,500.00
which represents damages, Atty's fees and
court costs. Res. #76-15019 adopted. V.M.
Haber requested report on why incident leading
to this matter had occurred in first place, and
what stens have been taken to preclude a
repetition of same set of circumstances.
(NOT ON AGENDA) City Atty recommended that 5/19/76
appeal not be taken re. suit brought against
City by Wilton, Ltd. and that judgment be
paid, approved.
