Police Chief Cotzin appeared and rendered an
oral report on the legal requirements that
must be fulfilled before determinig whether
a film is obscene, and advised of the steps
that are being taken by Police Dept. in an
attempt to restrain this operation. He also
advised that the owner has an application
pending for a live entertainment and burles-
que license for Roosevelt Theater's premises.
Commissioner Weisburd requested Administration
and Legal Dept. to prepare a report of all
