Weinstein asked an ad hoc committee be formed for
purpose of creating public interest in this pro-
ject, with respect to financial involvement and
donations of artifacts. City Mgr. directed to
consult with Hank Meyer re: composition of this
committee; City Atty. to draw appropriate resolu-
tion for Council's consideration at 8/8/73 meeting.8/1/73
Res. 73-14081 adopted to include suggestions of
Mr. Hank Meyer, committee to be comprised of
26 members as follows: 1 each from five cultural
organizations utilizing Auditorium, Councilmen
each to make three appointments. Appointees to

tions. Council members may forward names of
appointees to City Clerk. Mayor Hall asked to

assured him he would attend opening of City's
new Theatre of Performing Arts.

Final presentation made. Architect authorized
to proceed. Dr. Haber asked architect to ad-
vise Council with an updated report re: improve-
ments made in acoustics. 10/3/73
Vice Mayor Goodman asked City Mgr. to send a
communication to members of Ad Hoc Theatre of
Perf. Arts Advisory Committee, advising them
of status of plans for Theatre; Mayor Hall be re-
quested to call and attend first meeting so
it may start functioning. 10/3/73
Councilman Rosen appointed Mrs. Ben Cohen
