Hotel -Motel District, Dr. Haber asked City
Atty. to prepare appropriate ordinance for Council
consideration, to provide for fine of up to $1,000
and/or imprisonment of up to 30 days, and that
each day shall be a separate offense for any
violation of Zoning Ordinance. 4/17/74

5401 Collins Ave., that a public hearing be
held to consider amending Zoning Ord. 1891 by
adding a new sub -section, delineating apartment -
hotel accessory uses and including a definition

Ord. 74-1992 adopted to amend Ord. No. 1891 to
establish a new hotel -motel district and new
area district MF -11. Following amendments
approved prior to second reading: Item C -"Minimum
Lot Area" increased from 5,000 to 10,000 sq. ft.;
Item Di- Minimum Lot Width" increased from 50 to
100 ft. Council requested the recommendation of
the Planning Bd. that the proposed Hotel -Motel (H -M)
District regulations, include provision for a
Review Bd. to approve plans for proposed hotels
and motels, to be placed on future agenda. 4/17/74
