Councilman Magnes questioned the City Atty. as to effect of County Atty's Simon's opinion that Metro has sole authority as to zoning in cities and the unincorporated areas. Re: right of apartment house owners to open restaurants in their buildings; advertise same to public as accessory uses, Councilman Magnes stated Court of Appeals has now spelled out rights of three types of structures in M.B; that City Mgr. was aware of them; thatthere has been a lack of enforcement, particularly as to advertising of these uses.
