Memo #7326, request from Miami -Dade Community 2/7/79
College to use Flamingo Park Baseball field for
their 1979 season. Res. #79-15826 adopted,
authorizing rental fee waiver agreement, subject
to: 1) College providing insurance meeting City's
requirements, 2) College to be billed $45 per game
date for cost of City services, 3) College to con-
tinue to provide field and stadium maintenance
materials and supplies as necessary. Any lighting
cost in excess of cost of material and supplies
provided by College will be reimbursed to City.

Ocean Front Park (80th - 86th Sts.) would be
dedicated on March 22, 1979 at 9:00 a.m., and

ditional Police coverage in Parks. Mr. Mack
Helfman appeared and requested, 1) continuation
of weekend assignment of additional police in
Pier Park area to search automobiles as a
year-round policy, and 2) reinstitution of
assignment of foot patrolmen in Lummus Park,
to enforce laws and issue tickets where neces-
sary to insure protection of park users.
