examine option contract on property and
render final report on 2/6/74.
Ms. Edith Broida, representing her parents,
Moe and Ann Horowitz, owners of 1931 Meridian
Ave., to discuss offer made by Mr. Bennett on
behalf of City, for acquisition of this property,
Mr. Bennett requested to review information Mrs.
Broida claims would increase the offer made for
this property.
Mr. Bennet reported he had met with Ms. Edith
Broida, per Council's request, but saw no

City Atty. requested to proceed with con-
demnation proceedings, as previously authorized. 2/6/74
Authorization given Mr. Bennett to utilize
services of two previous appraisers, for an
up -date of appraisals on property (Bell -57 St.) 3/6/74
Mr. Bennett reported results of negotiations
for settlement with Michael and Paula Magyar,
owners of East 125' of Lots 4 & 5, Block 20,
Adm. #1 deferred to Apr. 17, 1974 and Council
to be furnished with copies of appraisals. 4/3/74

Bennett re: parcel 45 (7918 Collins Ave.) east
125 feet of lots 4 and 5, Block 20, Altos del
Mar No. 1. A resolution authorizing City
settlement with owners failed of passage. The
Council then voted to place on May 1, 1974 agenda4/17/74
Memo 4521 -Motion approving City Mgr's recommended
policy failed of passage. Those members voting
against policy were requested by City Mgr. to
provide him with their suggestions for guidance
in the preparation of revised policy, to be
considered by Council on 5/15/74.
