Bennett concerning Island View Property ap-
praisals and recommendations for proceeding
with lease negotiations. Mr. Bennett advised
that original appraisal of this property was
based on RM -100 zoning; that because of certain
deed restrictions, an updated appraisal of the
property should now be made on the basis of its
"Municipal Use" zoning, prior to City entering
into renewed lease negotiations. City Atty.
recommended that two appraisals be obtained,
one on the basis of the deed restrictions,

and the other on the basis of the highest and
best use of the land, The Commission authorized
Mr. Bennett to come back with recommendations
for employment of an appraiser, or appraisers,
on both bases, at the same time taking into

from 1/18/78). Mr. Bennett advised that
Mr. Carton W. Cole is available to perform
required appraisal work, per Commission's
request of Dec. 29, 1977 for appraisals. A
motion to retain Mr. Cole failed of passage
by a vote of 3 to 3. Commissioner Weinstein
requested that matter be placed on Feb. 15,
1978 agenda, when a full Commission is expected
to be present. Per suggestions of Mrs. Falk,
Commission and herself to be furnished with
minutes pertaining to 11/6/73 bond question re:
acquisition of M.B. Yacht Corp. property.
