Parks & Rec Director explained that budget shortfall has necessitated reduction in staff, and reduced schedule will be in effect this coming weekend. Mr. Lou Karns appeared and referred to a petition (not submitted to City Clerk) with signatures of persons who would be willing to pay a nominal fee of 25 per event, so as to continue daily dances. Council approved issuance of annual permit for $2.50 for persons over 65 who are bona fide residents; approved 25 admission fee for all other residents; and $1.00 admission fee for non-residents.
