City Atty. advised that prosecutions will take place if required. Recommendation of City Atty. accepted that Mr. Richard Kanner continue in his role as special counsel in defense of Rent Control litigation at the present $75 pr hr rate; that Mr. Kanner be authorized to employ Prof. John Ritter at a fee of $75 pr hr., with both to handle the entire case and take the full responsibility therefor; In the interim, City Atty. is to negotiate a top set figure 34 Date 7/16/75 8/6/75 RENT CONTROL 35 (coned) Date with both to handle the entire case. 8/6/75 Mr. Harry Plissner appeared and advised of 8/6/75 emergency situation concerning an eviction appeal and requested that the City Atty. de- fend the case. City Atty. rendered oral report that Judge Popper had granted the City's motion to dismiss the complaints of the Roney Plaza and Seacoast Towers apartments. Request of M.B.
