17B of the Code of CMB being The Minimum Hous-
ing Standards Ord. of CMB, by amending Sec.
17B-13 thereof so as to specify the time within
which the Code Enforcement Officer shall record
notices of violation, and also amending Sec.
17B-16 thereof so as to provide for the recording
in the public records of Dade Co., Fla., any order
of the Minimum Housing Appeals Brd. affirming or
modifying any action or decision of the Code
Enforcement Officer, and providing for the

Friedman requested a status report on the
effectiveness of and compliance with Ord.
#78-2144 requiring absentee owners to desig-
nate a local agent. He also requested Admini-
stration to review all ordinances in effect
so as to determine which, if any, are enfore-
able or require modification, and to submit
a report.

recommendation had been received from Minimum
Housing and Commercial Property Standards Brd.,
re: the existing vacancy on that board.
Memo #7790, an ord. amending Code of C.M.B.
by amending Sec. 17B-27 of City Code to in-
clude requirement that certain portions of
any premises subject to said code be painted
not less often than once every 3 yrs.; re-
pealing all ordinances in conflict; and pro-
viding for an effective date. Amended prior
to 1st reading to provide for insertion of
word "rental" in title of ord., following the
