Ordinance 1940 adopted, amend Chap.20/Code pro-
viding for one-month extension of time in which
to apply for 1972-73 license without penalty;
to refund any monies collected,. as emergency meas.11/1/72
In response to inquiry from Councilman Greene
as to legality of amending ordinance adopted
as result of State Law, City Atty. said penalty
provision was permissive and not mandatory and
Council could refrain from demanding 1 mo.

occupational license tax on dock space used
by vessels as living quarters. Report of
Planning & Zoning Director on waterway pollu-
tion controland dock inspection and a report
on available city -owned property fronting on
water, that could be rented out. 4/18/73
City Mgr. to furnish report on City -owned
property adjacent to hotels on Collins Ave. with
a view toward development of some kind of net,
net lease for City on rental of that space. 4/18/73
Res. No. 73-14009 adopted - Council resolution
protesting state pre-empting of occupational
