He renewed suggestion that a feasibility study be done concerning poss. takeover by City of electric distr. syst. upon expiration of FPL's fran- chise. He urged that Admin. afford more time to cit- izens working in pub. interest. Comm. Falk volunteered to meet w/Mr. Plissner regarding poss. re-establishment of Energy Com. in an effort to develop an energy program & will submit a rep. & recs. for Comm. consid- eration. Harry Plissner appeared & was heard re. pub. 1/20/82 power. "P" MISCELLANEOUS 107 Date Harry Plissner declined to discuss item on fire 2/18/81 rescue - inadequate emergency med. serv. when called, due to delay in reaching his item. (see DOCOTRS ON AMBULANCES [EMERGENCY RESCUE SERVICE]) Harry Plissner appeared to discuss 1) unfair practices in use of City Agenda - Mayor Meyerson invited Mr. Plissner to meet w/him to discuss the matter further; 2) conflict of interest in matter of Comm. Mendelson & Red. Project - Mr. Plissner stated his belief as to a conflict of interest & advised that he is pursuing this further w/State Ethics Com.; 3) nonfeasance in performing, in cont'd 3/4/81 "P" MISCELLANEOUS 108 (Cont'd) Date implementing, provisions of Ord. 1906 re: City's 3/4/81 fire -rescue squad - scheduled for 3/18/81; 4) failure to recognize clear & present danger frm. locked fire -exits - scheduled for 3/18/81; 5) related matters having to do w/inefficiency & incompetent managing of City business - scheduled for 3/18/81.
