institute condemnation proceedings to acquire
Lots 1,2,3, Block 2, Palm Isl. for park and
recreational facilities. (Mr. SZBennett reported
owners did not want to sell)
Res. 73-14205 adopted, authorizing acceptance
of settlement agreement for. purchase of Lots 1, 2
and 3, Block 2, Palm Isl., from EM Loew, for parks
and recreation, for $140,000 plus $300 moving
expenses to owner, plus reasonable attorney's fees
and costs to be fixed by the court.
