Councilman Weinstein requested the Adminis-
tration move expeditiously on the air rights
proposal presently under consideration, as an
additional source of revenue for the City.
Councilman Weinstein requested Administration to
expedite report on feasibility of air rights in
Lincoln Lane area (in conjunction with the develop-
ment of Convention Hall Complex) and in other areas
of City, to be presented at either a regular meet-
ing or a workshop session so that the Council may
consider various alternatives and act.

matter was not reached.
Petition by Mr. Max Serchuk, Pres. of Dade 9/19/74
Co. Council Senior Citizens, for adoption
of a resolution calling a special election
to consider charter amendments empowering
the city to sell or lease air rights for
low cost housing. Withdrawn by Councilman
Sahl, who will re -place on future agenda,
when ready.(Requested by Councilman Sahl).

prepare specifications for proposed sale or
long-term lease of air space over municipally
owned land North of 17th St. (To be submitted).
Deferred to 11/20/74. City Mgr. reported in-
terest of investor to construct hotel on this
site but that size of available area insuf-
ficient for number of units contemplated. City
Mgr. will continue to pursue with developer and
Mr. John Beyer for hotel development on alter-
nate site.
