Z. Bennett, Appraiser, appeared, reported that he was unable to negotiate with the owners of the Horowitz property located at southeast corner of Dade Blvd. and Meridian Ave., and recommended that City Atty. pursue eminent domain action to acquire this property. City Atty. advsied he would go forward. For information only. He further advised that the condemnation suit was set for trial the week of Nov. 17, and that the property is assessed at $215,000. No action taken.
