I am presently a member of the Human Rights Committee for which I am
submitting this resume. I am a graduate of Miami Dade College. I lived in Miami
Beach from 1980-2015 and recently moved to Miami Shores. I work full time in
Miami Beach, at EWM Realty International, located at 419 Arthur Godfrey Road,
Miami Beach, FL 33140.
Work History:
1982-1992 — Manager at a Plastic Surgery Center in Miami
1992-1993 — Self -Employed / Catering Company
1993- Present — Realtor at EWM Realty International
Family:
I have 2 adult daughters that live in San Francisco, Natalie and Olivia.
Activities:
I was an activist in Chile in the early 1970's which ended in 1973 when I was
arrested by the military dictatorship and was given political asylum in the
United States.
I was appointed to the Miami Beach Community Relations Board and served
from 2002-2006
I volunteered at the Children's Home Society for several years (1998-2004)

I am currently a board member of the ACLU Police Practices Committee. Our
main purpose is to monito police practices in regards to minorities in our
community, particularly during Memorial Day weekend in Miami Beach.
I volunteer and participate in other events and groups in an unofficial capacity.
Activism is in my heart and very important to me.
I serve in the Human Rights Committee in 2014-4016 and would appreciate your
support to continue my work for one more term. We are mid -project on several
issues, most important to me is our events for the prevention of sex trafficking
in our schools and our community.
