Experience
Miami Beach Planning Board January 2015 to Present
Conduct monthly hearings in order to review Conditional Use Applications for uses of property that would
not be generally appropriate without restriction throughout a particular zoning district or neighborhood
within the City of Miami Beach.
Miami Beach Ocean Drive Blue Ribbon Panel June 2015 to Present
Appointed to this Task Force comprised of residents and owners from the City of Miami Beach in order to
make recommendations to the City of Miami Beach on projects and programs that would enhance the Ocean
Drive experience for both residents and visitors.
Examined the issue of umbrellas and aesthetics on the Umbrella and Ae sthetics sub-committee in order to
recommend a uniform standard of aesthetics for businesses operating on Ocean Drive.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden Board of Directors April 2014 to Present
Conduct monthly Board Meetings to consult on programming, operations, budget and special events in order
to promote environmental enjoyment in this unique subtropical urban oasis on Miami Beach and fulfill the
Mission of the Garden.
Personally oversaw the renegotiation and improvement of the venue rental contract terms and fees, which
accounts for over fifty percent of annual revenue for the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
Vice President, Lower North Bay Road Homeowners’ Association January 2013 to September 2015
Served as a liaison between the City of Miami Beach Capital Improvement Projects Department and the 130
homeowners on Lower North Bay Road throughout the entire Capital Improvement Project to replace and
upgrade the drainage on the street including the installation of pumping stations for flood water preven tion.
Communications secretary for both the representatives from the City of Miami Beach and the Residents in
order to facilitate a positive and transparent relationship throughout the invasive construction project.
