COMMISSION WORKSHOP
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Rorida, will hold a Workshop Meeting on Friday, March 22, 2002,:
commencing at 2:00 p.m., in the Commission Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall,
1700 Convention Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, to discuss Bay Link, the
Miami-Miami Beach Transportation Corridor Study. Discussion will relate to the
three aRemate alignments in Miami Beach and three alternate alignments in
downtown Miami and the connection between them, In addition, the
alternatives of no-build, baseline and a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) will be
discussed.
The Bay Unk Study wilt offe tra spotration altomamas that result in enhanced
mobility and intermodal col~nectnfvity. It entails updating and reevaluating the
analysis of environmental, transportation, operating and financial impacts of
the proposed transportation improvements that were originally analyzed as part
of the 1995 East-West Multimodal Corridor Study DEIS.
