THIS INDENTURE, Made this 31st day of August,
A. D. 1929, between THE MIAMI OCEAN VIEW COMPANY, a Florida
corporation, having its principal place of business in the County
of Dade and State of Florida, and lawfully authorized to transact
business in the State of Florida, party of the first part, and
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, a Municipal corporation existing
under the laws of the State of Florida, having its principal
place of business in the County of Dade and State of Florida, and
lawfully authorized to transact business in said State, party of
the second part,
WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part,
fbr and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Thousand

Dollars ($300,000.00) to it in hand paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has

Avenue (now Meridian Avenue as named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232, passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on January 20th, 1926)
