CITY OF MIAMI BEACH NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a public I~earing will be held by ~e City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, in the Commission Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Rodda, on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 10:45 a.m., to hear public comment regarding the appropriation of $735,821 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5309 Funds, as required by 49 U,S,C., Chapter 53; these funds, earmarked in Fiscal Year 1999-2000 for the Elec~owave Shuffle Service, must be appropriated in June 2002 to meet FTA requirements; and further stating that the required twenty percent local match will be provided, instead, by a Florida Department of Transportation "Soft" match, utilizing State toll revenue credits.
